What sizes are available?
Our women’s underwear is available in the full spectrum of standard UK dress sizes, from size 8 through to size 16. Some styles can also be found in sizes XS-L. What styles are available?
We currently sell four styles of women’s underwear – including briefs, boxer briefs, hipster briefs and thongs. And more information on the each of these can be found in our guide.
The right one for you will depend on your personal preferences and the kind of outfits you like to wear. But rest assured, whichever style you choose, you’ll find they’re super comfortable and breathable. Yet also fitted and tailored enough to accentuate the feminine figure.
Some of the styles in our ladies underwear collection come with a wide, woven waistband. Others have a slim seamless waist, with no VPL (no visible panty line). Both colour-block and patterned designs are available and these come in a rainbow of colours – ranging from classic whites, blacks and greys to pretty shades of pink, purple and blue. What is the difference between women’s briefs and boxers?
Both of these styles are designed with comfort in mind, either made from cotton jersey or lightweight microfibre – and both are an absolute staple for your knicker drawer. But they differ slightly in terms of their shape.
Briefs are a classic style of women’s underwear. Typically mid-rise, with an elasticated waistband and a traditional ‘knicker shape’ – they offer fantastic coverage to the front and back. A fuss-free design, that can be thrown on with any outfit.
Boxer briefs are a feminine twist on classic men’s boxer shorts. In contrast to briefs, they have a much more rectangular shape, a hipster waistline, and a lower-cut leg (that fully covers the cheeks of your bum!). The perfect style to be worn with loungewear, such as an oversized t-shirt or cami.
What is the best fabric for women’s knickers?
Women’s knickers come in a range of different fabrics. Lycra. Satin. Silk. Lace. And yes, they all look very pretty. But if you want both style and comfort, cotton is (by far!) the best option. That’s what most of our ladies underwear is made from, here at Tokyo Laundry. A premium 95% cotton blend.
Lightweight and breathable, it’s the perfect choice to promote feminine health. Cotton knickers are super soft and stretchy, ideal for day-to-day wear, and versatile enough to be thrown on with any outfit. Yet despite all their practical benefits, they’re still cute and flattering and available in a range of pretty patterns.
How much does our ladies underwear cost?
Despite its luxurious feel, all ladies underwear at Tokyo Laundry is priced affordably. For example, an assorted pack of three briefs costs just £11.99, and a set of five only £17.99. Bra and cami sets are also available at bargain prices, starting from approximately £11.99 each.

How many pairs of knickers do I need?
That’s a tricky question, as in our opinion, you can never have too many!
